Madinaty Golf Club hosts charity tournament for Alzheimer’s awareness
Madinaty Golf Club has hosted a charity tournament to raise awareness for Alzheimer’s disease, an initiative Omar Hisham Talaat, Chief Business Development Officer at Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG), said aimed to utilise the venue’s profile to support community causes.
The event, held under the slogan “We Are With You” in collaboration with Rotary Club Cairo Golf Madinaty, coincided with International Volunteer Day.
Talaat stated that hosting the initiative reflected TMG’s commitment to corporate social responsibility. He added that the club’s reputation as a top destination for international championships provided an impetus to “invest this success” in maximising its social role through cooperation with civil society organisations.

Rotary Egypt Governor Hossam Farhat said the organisation is keen to launch initiatives with sustainable impact, noting that the tournament aimed to heighten community awareness regarding Alzheimer’s.
Iman El-Ghamrawy, founder and president of Rotary Club Cairo Golf Madinaty, said the initiative focuses on providing psychological and social support to the elderly and those afflicted with the disease, alongside promoting methods of early prevention.
