CIB, Kenya Bankers Association launch 3rd Credit Analysis Programme for university graduates

Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) and Kenya Bankers Association (KBA) have announced the launch of the third edition of the Credit Analysis Programme in East Africa. This initiative is designed to equip university graduates with essential credit assessment and lending expertise, reinforcing the strategic partnership between CIB and KBA to develop the next generation of financial professionals in Kenya.

This collaboration aligns with the broader efforts of the Egyptian government—particularly the Central Bank of Egypt—and the private banking sector, led by CIB, to support economic development across Africa. By partnering with institutions like KBA, CIB continues to play a pivotal role in enhancing financial education and workforce readiness on the continent.

Fully sponsored by CIB, the Credit Analysis Programme provides specialized training to prepare young professionals for careers in banking and finance. With 39 graduates from previous cohorts, the Programme has already made a tangible impact, equipping participants with the analytical skills needed for effective credit evaluation and lending decisions.

The latest edition will welcome a new cohort of aspiring financial experts, furthering the initiative’s mission to contribute to Africa’s economic growth by developing a skilled workforce.
