Overview:

Dendera is the most beautiful and best preserved temple in Egypt. Dendera was district capital in ancient Egypt and is widely known for its ancient Egyptian ruins.The goddess Hathor was considered the patroness of the city. The entire temple complex covers 40,000 square meters and is surrounded by amudstone wall.Vistiors enter the tempel through the portal and enter an impressiv 43-meter long portico.

The Habu Temple was built by Ramses the Third. The temple is considered the last spark of the heyday of the great pharaohs. The Habu Temple served both the cult of the dead pharaoh and the worship of the god Amun and is one of the largest temple complexes of Ancient Egypt.
